Discount Digital Photographics ships with Startrack, Australia Post (eParcel and Express Post) and WantItNow.

Orders addressed to P.O box and G.P.O box, will be shipped by Australia Post and extra time should be allocated for these orders.

Our FREE shipping offer for orders over $499 will be shipped via Startack Express and Australia Post.

Shipping Transit Times

Shipping time refers to the estimated time that it will take to deliver your order after its ready to ship (Please note this does not include time to process your order). Shipping time does not commence after your order is put through but begins the moment your order has been processed and is ready to dispatch via the freight carrier of choice. You are welcomed to submit an online enquiry if you want to know about processing time for a particular order. 

All shipping includes FREE insurance from door to door.  Please contact us as soon as you receive your order if it has been damaged in transit.


Major City & Metro Areas - Startrack or Australia Post

Processing times are anywhere from 1-5 working days depending on stock availability.  Generally orders are processed and shipped same day or next Business day.  Packages below 5kg are usually received 1-2 business days after shipping.  Packages above 5kg please allow an extra 1-2 business days for delivery.

Sydney metro customers can select WantItNow for same day delivery and these orders will be delivered in 3 hours once shipped.  Please see WantItNow below for more information.

If no one is available at your delivery address to accept your order a second delivery may be scheduled or you will be notified that your order can be collected from your nearest Australia Post or Australia Post Business centre.

Rural Areas  - Startrack or Australia Post

We know sometimes you need your order as quickly as possible and with our new shipping partner WantItNow we are able to offer a same day 3 hour shipping service.  

This service is available on selected best selling products and you can view the range here.

This service is available to selected metro suburbs in Sydney between 9am and 3pm business days.  This service is not available on weekends or public holidays.  Please note price will vary depending on your distance from our North Sydney location.  Maximum order weight is limited to 25kg.

How to use this service

If your selected products and suburb qualify for WantItNow shipping it will be an available option when you get a shipping estimate in the shopping cart.  See the example below:

Select the "Want It Now" shipping option and continue your purchase as normal.  You will be updated within 30 minutes with your tracking number for the 3 hour delivery.

If you would like to use the service for a product not currently part of our selected best selling products please call us on 1800 280 847 to confirm availability.

We can deliver your parcel within 3 hours of your order being dispatched to selected Sydney Metro areas. Please allow a maximum of 30 minutes for your order to be dispatched after it has been placed. Order must be completed between 9am & 3pm (business days ONLY).  Delivery qualification is also subject to availability of stock on-hand at time of placing order. Customers must be available to sign for their package at time of delivery by the courier. Delivery addresses can be residential homes or businesses but will not deliver to P.O. boxes. We can guarantee we'll dispatch your parcel at time of placing the order (please allow a maximum of thirty minutes for your order to be dispatched after it has been phoned through) however we cannot guarantee weather events or other events out of our control which may impede on delivery within the 3hr allocation. Should an event occur which consequently delays your order being delivered on time, you will be contacted by a WantItNow representative. Your delivery fee will be refunded if your order is significantly delayed (by one hour or more). Once order is placed and paid in full your parcel can be tracked at www.wantitnow.com.au/track-your-parcel.
 


Please note in regards to all orders

  • These expected delivery dates/times are based on courier shipping practices, your destination and the items in your order.
  • Expected delivery dates are estimates. Orders can be delayed due to fraud verification or time of order being placed. Items that are not regularly stocked cannot be held to the expected delivery dates. 
  • Orders may be delivered in separate shipments. 
  • Order cut off times are based on normal Business Hours and exclude weekends and Public Holidays: Monday - Friday 3:30pm
  • Some items on our website may not be in stock at the time of your order. You will be notified if there is any delay of the expected delivery date. You may wish to wait or if not, we will be happy to cancel the order at your request.
  • If one of the items in your order includes something not in stock, we may ship items as they become available so you are the least inconvenienced as possible.

When your order ships you will receive an email from us with a link to track your order.  If you receive your tracking number before 6pm (Sydney time) it may not be updated on the Courier's website until that evening. 

Due to large amounts of online credit card fraud, all orders are subject to approval by our payment verification department. We will notify you by phone or email should your order be delayed.

When your order ships you will receive an email from us with a link to track your order.  If you receive your tracking number before 6pm (Sydney time) it may not be updated on the Courier's website until that evening.
