I'm a serious amateur photograpoher with a canon 7D body as my main platform.
When I bought this lens I did a walk around my skall country town on a foggy winter's morning. Set on aperture priority of f1.8 @EOS 400, I ended up taking 100 very pleasing shots of everthing from close up of flowers to moving trucks and cars tolight and shade scenes int he local park.
For $150 post free, yo9 can't go wrong with starter lens. Takes a nice portrait too!
