Rebel or EOS?
Posted by Mitchell on 1st Dec 2011
I'm a b it confused as in Canada where my wife is from this camera is called a Rebel 600D. In Australia I asked a guy in a shop the other day and he said it's called the EOS 600D in Australia. Can anyone enlighten me about this? Are there any differences between the Canon rebel and the Canon EOS? Looking to buy this as a xmas present and want to make sure it's the same.. want to avoid any xmas day tears from the wife! hhahah.

Sam And The Boys!
Posted by Cavan on 1st Dec 2011
Rang DDP up 5 mins ago. A man by the name of Sam picked the phone up and confirmed that they will deliver to my small little country town of cavan. For those that don't know.... Cavan is 26kms south of Yass... Getting large companies to deliver to such rural areas has been a real problem for years. Sam alleviated all my fears. Cheers, can't wait to start taking pictures on my new Canon EOS 600D digital SLR camera!!

Canon 600D VS Nikon d5100
Posted by McAlpine on 1st Dec 2011
I have been reading up on the Canon 600D vs the Nikon d5100. Does anybody know which one is better? They are both great cameras. From what I can gather the Canon 600D takes better videos whereas the Nikon D5100 takes better photos. I have also read that the Canon 600D's photos look more enhanced whereas the Nikon takes better natural pics. Has anyone used both and can recommend?
At the moment I think I'm looking towards getting the Canon 600D as my cousin has it and raves about it all the time.
